Reality Therapy
Like mathematics, physics is about uncovering beautiful, simple and empowering preexisting universal truths that are not subject to opinion or social consensus. Theoretical physics seems to have lost its way in the 1960s, having confused subjective creativity with objective science to the point of an unequivocal systemic pathology, which requires treatment (i.e., “reality therapy”).

The First President of the APS (American Physical Society) was Henry A. Rowland. His presidential address, delivered at the second meeting of the Society on 28 October 1899, is remarkable. I consider it a must-read for all physicists and especially those young physicists who are still pursuing their studies.

No ‘dark matter’ needed…
One of the most important outstanding problems in astrophysics today concerns the “dark matter problem.” For about forty years now, it has been assumed that the observed dynamical behavior of spiral galaxy disks cannot be explained by canonical Newtonian physics without invoking ‘dark matter’ particles, which make up the majority of a spiral galaxy’s mass, yet are mysteriously invisible. This proves to have been a mistake; a definitive answer to the problem may be found here: < http://GravitySim.net >
